The model for this pin is made from a wooden pin, with the decoration added from beeswax. |
Mould

Material: clay & sand
The model was used to press the shape in both halves of the soft clay. The mould was then dried and fired. |

After several casting attempts, the result was one succesfully cast pin, and one with some casting flaws. |
